3月末、覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年長〜年少Eaglets・Parrots・Hummingbirdsクラスの子どもたちは、平和公園で最後の「ネイチャー＆マラソンイベント」を楽しみました。 卒業を迎えるEagletsの子どもたちにとっては、お友だちやクラスメイトと一緒に過ごす最後の特別な時間でもあり、嬉しさと少しの寂しさが入り混じる、かけがえのない一日となりました。 広々とした自然の中で元気いっぱいに走り回り、 Our Eaglets, Parrots and Hummingbirds students enjoyed their last Nature and Marathon eventat Heiwa Park last month. It was bittersweet as it was the last time our graduating Eaglets students could play with their friends and classmates. It was fun running, playing tag, flying kites and having picnic lunches together.

At our school, we have a school lunch service, and some children also bring lunch from home. Everyone is always excited to see what is in their lunchbox. 覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年長Eagletsクラスの子どもたちは、名古屋市の千種警察署へ社会見学に出かけました。 到着すると、警察官の皆さまがあたたかく迎えてくださり、子どもたちはワクワクした表情に。警察官のお仕事について、「困っている人を助けること」「地域の安全を守ること」など、大切な役割をわかりやすく教えていただきました。 特に盛り上がったのは、警察官の制服を着せていただき、本物の白バイの前で写真撮影をした体験です。ライトや無線機に目を輝かせながら、「これは何ですか？」「どうやって使うの？」と積極的に質問する姿がとても印象的でした。真剣に話を聞く姿から、子どもたちの成長も感じられました。 また、「困ったときの助けの求め方」や「地域で警察官がどのようにサポートしているか」など、防犯・安全についても学ぶことができました。実際の場所で本物に触れる体験は、子どもたちにとって何よりも心に残る学びです。 今回の校外保育を通して、✔ 地域社会への理解✔ 防犯意識・安全意識✔ 質問する力と聞く力✔ 本物体験による探究心 を育む貴重な機会となりました。 ご協力いただいた千種警察署の皆さまに心より感謝申し上げます。Eagletsクラスの子どもたちは、たくさんの発見と誇らしい気持ちを胸に、笑顔いっぱいで園に戻ってきました。これからも地域とつながる学びを大切にしていきます。✨ Our Eaglets class students enjoyed an exciting mini field trip to Chikusa Police Station. The children were very excited as we arrived and were warmly welcomed by the police officers. They learned about an officer’s important job of helping people and keeping the community safe. 今週、覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールでは子どもたちがとびきり楽しみにしていたイベント「ファニーソックスデー」を開催しました。登園した瞬間から、教室は色とりどりの靴下と子どもたちの笑い声でいっぱいに！ レインボーカラーの靴下、かわいい動物柄、思いきりミスマッチのペア、ストライプや水玉、スーパーヒーロー柄、ふわふわ素材のものまで…それぞれが自慢の“特別な一足”を嬉しそうに見せてくれました。モーニングサークルでは、「どんな色？」「どんな柄かな？」と観察しながら発表タイム。お友だちや先生に見てもらうことで、自信と表現力もぐんと育まれました。 さらに、クラスでは「ファニーソックパレード」も開催！まるでランウェイモデルのように歩きながら、自分の靴下を披露しました。教室は拍手と歓声で大盛り上がり。お友だちを応援する姿からは、思いやりの気持ちも感じられました。 遊びの中で自然に育つ✔ 自己表現力✔ 英語での語彙力（色・柄・形の表現）✔ 自信とコミュニケーション力 ご家庭の皆さまのご協力のおかげで、子どもたちにとって忘れられない楽しい一日となりました。素敵な靴下のご準備、ありがとうございました。 これからも笑顔あふれる保育の様子をお届けしていきます。 This week we had one of the silliest and happiest days at our preschool ～ Funny Socks Day! From the moment the children arrived, our classroom was full of colors, patterns, and lots of giggles.
