The Parrots had a wonderful time getting creative this week! 🎨✨ We made our very own coral artwork by hand-painting pieces of clay. The children enjoyed choosing their colors, experimenting with different ways to paint, and carefully adding their own creative touches. It was definitely a fun and very messy activity! Student at KIPS were excited to visit Kidzania Koshien in Hyogo this year! After catching an early morning bus all together in Nagoya, we drove to Hyogo where we were greeted by Kidzania staff, changed into uniforms and had orientation. The children stepped into a miniature city where they were in charge!! They chose different jobs, followed instructions, worked together, and discovered what it is like to have a real job. The Hummingbirds had a fun-filled time exploring the world of animals! 🦁🐰🐸 The children made their own animal masks and had lots of fun pretending to be their favorite animals. They played together, moved around like different animals, and even practiced their animal jumps! We also turned our animal movements into a fun math activity. Our Ducklings have been enjoying some creative under-the-sea fun! The children made their very own fish fans and had a wonderful time decorating them with colorful fish. To create the fish patterns, we used bubble wrap! The children painted the bubble wrap and pressed it onto their artwork, discovering the fun patterns and textures it could make. 🎨 Creative Exploration ～ Using bubble wrap was a fun way for the children to explore different textures and experiment with printing. Our Ducklings and Hatchlings had a wonderful time dancing together and showing off their best moves! We learned about animals and had fun making animal footprints by stamping cardboard shapes. The children enjoyed discovering different animal tracks and getting creative with their artwork. We also worked on our letter recognition skills by matching letters and enjoyed plenty of hands-on play with our favorite toys. The children had fun building and playing together with blocks, practicing sharing and teamwork along the way!
