Our Hummingbirds Class had a fantastic time exploring different painting techniques using forks, sponges, and a variety of fun materials! The children loved experimenting with textures, colors, and patterns while creating their own unique artwork. Through this hands-on sensory activity, the children were able to strengthen their fine motor skills, creativity, and self-expression in a playful and engaging way. From stamping with sponges to making exciting patterns with forks, every child enjoyed discovering new ways to paint and create. It was wonderful to see their imagination come to life as they proudly shared their colorful masterpieces with their friends and teachers!

Our Parrots Class at Kakuozan International Preschool have been having a wonderful time learning, exploring, and growing together through a variety of fun daily activities. The children enjoyed spending time at the park, where they practiced teamwork, built friendships, and stayed active through outdoor play. Back in the classroom, the students have been working hard on their reading and writing skills, showing great enthusiasm and confidence during lessons and independent activities. Our Eaglets Class at Our Eaglets Class (年長クラス) at Kakuozan International Preschool has been working hard preparing for our upcoming Sports Day in Nagoya. The children have been showing incredible energy, teamwork, and determination during every practice session. Our Ducklings Class (2–3 years old) at Kakuozan International Preschool has been exploring our monthly theme, “The World Around Us.” Through hands-on sensory play and creative art activities, the children worked together to create a beautiful Earth painting using their feet and colorful paint! 👣🌍 Activities like these help toddlers develop fine and gross motor skills, creativity, body awareness, and curiosity about the world around them. Most importantly, the children had so much fun learning through play together. At Kakuozan International Preschool, we believe young children learn best through meaningful, interactive experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, and confidence.

It was such a special day at our school as two of our graduates from 10 years ago came back to visit their old preschool! They spent time looking around the classrooms, sharing memories, and catching up with their former teachers. Everyone was so happy and excited to see how much they have grown over the years. What made the visit even more amazing was that they were still able to communicate so naturally in English! Wow, our last academic year just flew by. We said goodbye to our graduating Eaglets class and are excited to welcome new students, teachers and classes. As we start off the new year, we hope that our students and families enjoy the many upcoming events we have planned. Let’s have a fun, educational and safe year together.

Spring School at Kakuozan International Preschool is always a fun-filled event! This year we celebrated all things Spring, Easter and English during our 2 week Spring School program. Children painted Easter eggs, made rainbow crafts, did fun scavenger hunts and of course everyone’s favorite… Easter Egg hunts!! Our next big program will be Summer School. Come and join us for 3 weeks of fun soon.
