覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少前Ducklingsクラスの子どもたちは、今週も笑顔いっぱいの楽しい時間を過ごしました！💛 今週は卒園生でもあるインターンのYu先生と一緒に遊びながら交流を深め、たくさんの笑顔が見られました。子どもたちは懐中電灯を使って光と影の不思議を探究し、遊びを通して新しい発見を楽しみました。🔦✨ 暑い夏の日にはプール遊びも満喫！お友だちと水しぶきを上げながら、元気いっぱいに楽しみました。💦☀️ さらに、特別な足形アート制作にも挑戦しました。かわいらしい足形を使った作品づくりを通して、一人ひとりの成長を感じられる素敵な思い出ができました。👣🎨 遊びや創作活動、友だちとの関わりを通して、子どもたちは毎日さまざまなことを学びながら成長しています。これからも楽しい夏の思い出をたくさん作っていきたいと思います！🌈✨ Our Ducklings had a wonderful week filled with exciting hands-on activities and new experiences! The children enjoyed spending time with our intern, who joined in the fun and helped create lots of smiles and laughter throughout the week. The Hummingbirds, Parrots, and Eaglets had an exciting day at Yokiso Park as they enjoyed a refreshing water fight together! Armed with water shooters, the children ran, laughed, and splashed their friends while cooling off in the summer heat. For the Hummingbirds, this was their very first water fight experience. Some children were a little surprised at first, but they quickly joined in the fun and eagerly sprayed water with big smiles on their faces. The Hummingbirds class has been having a fantastic time exploring our Preschool Course theme, “All About Sports and Games!” Through a variety of active, creative, and educational activities, the children have been developing their physical skills, confidence, and early literacy abilities while having fun with their friends. The Hatchlings class had a fantastic time exploring our monthly Preschool Course theme, “All About Sports and Games!” Through a variety of active and creative experiences, the children developed important physical, social, and communication skills while having fun with their friends. One of the highlights of the month was spending time together at the park. Outdoor play provides valuable opportunities for young children to run, climb, balance, and explore their surroundings. Our students showed great enthusiasm, determination, and teamwork as they participated in a variety of exciting events throughout the day. From running races and obstacle courses to team games and relay races, every child gave their best effort and had plenty of fun along the way. The Hatchlings, Ducklings, Hummingbirds, Parrots, and Eaglets all demonstrated wonderful sportsmanship as they cheered on their friends and celebrated each other’s achievements. Our students in the Bilingual Elementary 6th Grade Course have been learning about bridges and tunnels as part of their studies using the Oxford Discover 6 textbook. As part of this unit, they explored how engineers design structures that are both strong and practical. To put their learning into action, students worked in teams to design and build their own bridges using popsicle sticks. They carefully considered how to make their bridges stable and durable before putting them to the test. The most exciting part was the strength test! 先日、子どもたちは楽しみにしていた春の遠足で、Nagoya City Science Museum (名古屋市科学館)を訪れました。 館内では、さまざまな体験型展示に触れながら、科学の不思議や身近な現象について楽しく学ぶことができました。子どもたちは目を輝かせながら展示を観察し、「どうして？」「やってみたい！」という気持ちを持って積極的に参加していました。 実際に見て、触れて、体験することで、教室では得られない多くの発見や学びが生まれました。友だちと協力して展示を楽しむ姿や、新しいことに挑戦する姿からは、子どもたちの成長を感じることができました。 今回の遠足は、科学への興味や探究心を育むだけでなく、仲間とのコミュニケーションや協調性を深める貴重な機会にもなりました。たくさんの笑顔と驚きにあふれた、思い出に残る一日となりました。 当園では、教室での学びだけでなく、遠足や体験活動を通して子どもたちの「知りたい」「やってみたい」という気持ちを大切にしています。これからも英語環境の中で、楽しみながら学び、成長できる機会をたくさん提供していきます。 🔬✨ 子どもたちの好奇心と学ぶ力が大きく広がった、素晴らしい春の遠足となりました！ Our students had a wonderful time on their Spring Field Trip to the Nagoya Science Museum! The children loved experimenting with textures, colors, and patterns while creating their own unique artwork. Through this hands-on sensory activity, the children were able to strengthen their fine motor skills, creativity, and self-expression in a playful and engaging way. From stamping with sponges to making exciting patterns with forks, every child enjoyed discovering new ways to paint and create.
