覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年中Red Parrotsクラスでは、今月「地域社会（コミュニティ）」について学びました。
子どもたちは、自分たちの住む町にはどんな建物や場所があるかを話し合いながら、想像力を働かせて、自分たちだけの町をつくり上げました。

お家やお店、公園などの絵を描いたり、建物をデザインして制作したりと、幼児期ならではの創造力あふれる活動に取り組みました。完成した町は色鮮やかに飾られ、お友だちや先生、保護者の方々に披露しました。

この活動を通して、子どもたちは協力することの大切さや、地域社会への理解を深めることができました。

Our Red Parrots Class （4～5) years of age learned about their community this month. Working together, they spoke about the different buildings and places in their neighbourhood. They then designed and created their own town and drew pictures of buildings, houses and parks. It was fun to decorate and then show their classmates, teachers and parents.
