This year’s Summer School at KIPS was so much fun! The theme was “All About Nature” and the students enjoyed exploring different topics such as birds, rainbows and spiders. They even got to play with real earthworms and dissect flowers.
We had a lot of fun cooking, singing, dancing, doing science experiments and crafts. Elementary students also went to Higashiyama Zoo, the Science Museum and Nagoya Aquarium for field trips and we all made many new friends.
All students had a great time at Yokiso Park for their water fight trying to get each other as wet as possible. What a great way to cool off in this hot weather!
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Summer School. Let’s do it again next year.

KIPSでの夏休みは楽しいことがいっぱい！ 先生と一緒に歌を歌ったり、ダンスを踊ったり、クッキングやクラフト作りなど様々な体験をします。 今年のサマースクールのテーマは「自然について」なので花や虫など 沢山のテーマに沿ったアクティビティもあります。 本物のお花を分解してパーツについて学んだり、オレオを土に見立て イモムシグミを入れてスナックを作りました！ また、小学生のクラスは毎週金曜日に遠足に出掛けます。 先日は東山動物園へ行き、動物の名前や習性などを英語で触れ楽しい時間を過ごしました。 子ども達は楽しく遊んで学んで、KIPSでの楽しい思い出作りが出来たと思います！
