覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少さん(Hummingbirdsクラス)、年中さん(Parrotsクラス)、年長さん(Eagletsクラス)は名古屋市千種区の東山動物園近くの平和公園でネイチャー＆マラソンデー/ Nature and Marathon Day（自然の中で遊ぶ日&マラソン大会）をしました。

子ども達はアウトドア気分を満喫しながら芝生の上で遊んだり、落ち葉を拾ったり、木々や花々、虫たちを観察したり、先生達と一緒に自然の中を歩いたり、走ったりして丸一日を楽しみます♪

生徒達は約1㎞の距離をタイムを測り走ります。走っている時に転んだお友だちもいましたが、すぐ立ち上がり最後まで走り切ることが出来ました。お友だちが走っている姿を応援し合い、全員が完走することができました。みんな、とてもよくがんばりました！！！速い生徒さんはなんと4分台でこの距離を走り抜けます。

マラソンの後は待ちに待ったお昼ご飯の時間！みんなで芝生の上に座りピクニック！

その後はおにごっこをしたり、草や落ち葉を集めたり、昆虫探しをしたり…

とっても楽しかったね！！また秋に戻ってくる日を楽しみにしていようね！！

On a beautiful sunny autumn day our Hummingbirds, Parrots and Eaglets classes gathered at a running field near Higashiyama Park for a fun Nature and Marathon Day.

This is a really fun event for all the students where they have a chance to explore the great outdoors, play in the grass, collect leaves, go on a fun nature walk with their teachers and of course, run!

All students ran for approximately 1km from start to finish and each race was timed. Some students fell down but they got back up and kept on running. Well done! It was a very exciting race for everyone. We enjoyed cheering each other on and encouraging our friends to run together.

After the marathon we all sat down to enjoy a delicious picnic lunch and then spent the afternoon playing tag, collecting grass and leaves and hunting for bugs. We are very excited about going back again soon.
