今日は子供達が待ちに待った覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの運動会！今年は名古屋市昭和区にある昭和スポーツセンターで行いました。1歳児クラスから年長クラスまでの全員がベストを尽くし思い出に残るスポーツデー/運動会となりました。 準備運動から始まり、短距離走、親子障害物競走、玉入れ、リレー、綱引き、ダンスなど子供達、先生、保護者の全員が参加し、笑いあり、涙ありの最高の1日になりました。 その中でもEagletsクラス(年長)のリレーは白熱した勝負になりました。毎週モーニングランニングプログラムで3年間走ってきた子供達。一生懸命真剣に走り抜ける子供達を見て私たちも感動しました。 短距離走ではゴールにいるママやパパに向かって走るHatchilings(1-2歳クラス)、Ducklings(2-3歳クラス)の子供達。ママやパパの嬉しそうな顔とその胸に飛び込んでいく子供達の満面の笑顔が忘れられません。 Hummingbirds(年少)、Parrots(年中)クラスは親子障害物競走で大活躍！ママ、パパと力を合わせてゴールすることができました。 全員参加の綱引きでは会場が一つになり、大きな掛け声とともに勝負に挑む姿が印象的でした。 最後は全員でダンス！今年も最高の運動会/スポーツデーでした。

夏のこの時期になると、子ども達も、先生達もワクワク♪ソワソワ♪みんなウォーターファイトをするのを楽しみにしています。名古屋市千種区にある日本庭園揚輝荘で、年少さん(Hummingbirdsクラス)、年中さん(Parrotsクラス)、年長さん(Eagletsクラス)の子供達は最高に楽しいイベント、ウォーターファイトをおもいっきり楽しみました！ 子ども達は水風船を投げあったり、お互い水を掛け合ったり大喜び！先生達も童心に返って、いつも以上に子ども達とはしゃぎ、全員でウォーターファイトを楽しみました。 年少さん(Hummingbirdsクラス)の子供達にとっては今年が初めてのウォーターファイトです。初めは水を怖がっているお友だちもいましたが、お水をバシャバシャしながら遊んでいると慣れてきたようで、みんなで一緒になって楽しむ事ができました♪ ベテランの年中さん(Parrotsクラス)、年長さん(Eagletsクラス)の子供達はウォーターガンを使って、水で全身びしょ濡れになるまで、水を掛け合い、大興奮の中、この日を思い切り楽しみました！！！暑い気温の中での楽しい夏の思い出がまた一つ増えました。 When summer time comes around we all get excited because students and teachers love to play with water! We are lucky enough to be near a beautiful Japanese garden called Yokiso and Hummingbirds, Parrots and Eaglets students make our way there to have fun and cool off in the hot weather!   For teachers it is a great way to shake off the sillies and bond with our students. 今年も大人気プログラム　キッザニアトリップが開催されました！！！愛知県名古屋市より、バスで3時間かけて、兵庫県のキッザニア甲子園まで出かけました。 毎年子ども達から評判の高いプログラムで、子供たちが好きな仕事にチャレンジでき、楽しみながら、社会の仕組みを学んでいきます。キッザニアでは英語プログラムに参加しているので、覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールのバイリンガルの子供たちは全ての職業体験を英語100パーセントで体験します。 キッザニアに到着すると、グループごとに行動をしていきます。あるグループではピザショップで、子ども達が実際にピザを作るという体験をすることが出来ます！！！他のグループでは食品開発センターでおにぎりを作りました。その後は、試食する時間があるので、子どもたちは自分で作ったものを美味しそうに食べていました♪ 宅配センターでは制服に着替え、配達の仕組みについて学びました。銀行について学んだり、本物の石鹸を作ったり、警察官になる練習をしたり、パイロットになって飛行機を飛ばすシミュレーションをしたり、新聞記者になりきって自分の新聞を作ったりと、様々な職業を体験することができました！！！子ども達はもちろん、外から見守っていた引率の先生達も、貴重な体験をすることができました。   来年は君も一緒に、キッザニアにいこーーーう！！！ It is that time of year again when we catch a tour bus and travel to Hyogo Prefecture (a three hour bus ride) to experience the fantastic place that is KIDZANIA! Every year our students look forward to going there and trying their hand at different jobs and occupations. こんにちは。天野湧午（Yuma）と申します。今までベトナムに2年、ブラジルに4年住み、現在はアメリカで高校に通っています。12年前に覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールがオープンした当時の最初のサマースクールに参加させて頂きました。 今回は覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールでインターンシップとして様々な業務のお手伝いをし、多くを学ばせて頂きました。各クラスで先生達と一緒に子供たちのライティングやリーディングのサポ―トをしたり、オフィスではHPの編集、サマースクールの準備など様々なことを経験させて頂きました。このインターンシップを通じて学んだことは貴重な経験になり、これから先の人生で必ず役に立つと確信しています。社会に出て働くためには、まだまだ学んでいかなければならないことがあるという事も痛感したインターンシップでした。 子どもたちの元気と笑顔に多くの力を頂いたことに感謝しています。また英語の幼稚園に通うバイリンガルの子供たちの将来を楽しみにしています。ありがとうございました。 Hello! 今年の覚王山インターナショナルプリスクール のサマースクールのテーマは”世界旅行”。スーツケースに荷物を詰め込んで、パスポートを持ったら世界に飛び出そう！！これまでに出逢ったことのない文化に触れられること間違いなし！ パスポートにたくさんの入国スタンプを集めよう！！ まずは南半球！アボリジニーの歴史に触れた後は、アメリカ大陸へ！ブラジルでサンバを踊ったら、ニューヨークの自由の女神に”Hello!”とご挨拶。 陽気なアメリカ大陸を離れたら、次は荘厳なヨーロッパへ！エッフェル塔やピサの斜塔を訪れて歴史に触れて、友達をたくさん作ろう。 楽しい世界旅行をしている気分で、各国のおいしいおやつを作ったり、お祭りにちなんだ実験をしたりしますよ♪   みんな！国際人になるチケットを手にする気になったかな？Come and join us! 今日はみんなが待ちに待った遠足。 年中さん(Parrotsクラス)と年長さん(Eagletsクラス)のお友だちは名古屋市千種区の城山公園に集合し、バスで名古屋市港区にある戸田川こどもランドへ向かいました。バスの中で先生やお友だちとおしゃべりしながら楽しい時間を過ごしました。2歳児クラス(Ducklingsクラス)と年少さん(Hummingbirdsクラス)は親子遠足でした。お父さんやお母さんと一緒に遊べるのがとても嬉しそうで、笑顔がはじけていました。ローラー滑り台、ショベルカーで遊ぶ砂場、ターザンロープ、巨大な遊具広場などたーーーっくさん遊んで楽しかったね♪ 気持ちいい五月晴れの下、ピクニックランチも楽しんでとてもいい一日なりました！また今度くるまでSee you, Todagawa! Today Kakuozan International Preschool students gathered at Shiroyama Park to catch a bus and go to Todagawa Children’s Land. Our Parrots and Eaglets were so excited to get on the bus with the teachers. This was the first field trip of the year for our Ducklings and Hummingbirds students so they were happy to play with their parents. It was so much fun to see them enjoying the roller slider, giant sand box, obstacle course and zip line. A picnic lunch was enjoyed by more play time and then we said goodbye to Todagawa until next time. What an amazing day!

桜が満開になった3月末、年長さんであるEagletsクラスのみんなが覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールを卒園しました。卒園式は、子ども達や保護者の皆さんが感動の涙を流す姿と共に、誇らしい表情やたくさんの笑い声に溢れました。Eagletsクラスの担任であるAlisha先生と Tomoko先生はこの日のために、子ども達とスピーチや”We’re All in This Together”の曲に合わせて ダンスを練習してきました。また、在園生である年中さん(Parrotsクラス)のお友だちが心をこめて歌のプレゼントをしてくれ、最後のお別れをしました。 みんな、小学校でも元気に楽しい時間を過ごしてね！ 　 In March, our Eaglets graduated from Kakuozan International Preschool and we were all happy and sad to see them go. There were many tears on the day as well as laughter. Our Eaglets teachers, Alisha and Tomoko, worked hard with the students to sing and perform on this day. They sang to “We’re All in This Together” and also enjoyed a performance from the Parrots class students, many of whom were sad to see them graduate as well. Good luck to all of our graduates and have a wonderful time in elementary school.

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールに鬼が来たー!もう1匹来たー！ 1歳児クラス(Hatchlingsクラス)と2歳児クラス(Ducklingsクラス)、年少さん(Hummingbirdsクラス)のお友だちは今年も大泣きでしたが、一生懸命、豆を投げて鬼を追い払いました。 年中さん(Parrotsクラス)、年長さん(Eagletsクラス)では怖がるお友だちもいましたが、楽しそうに”Go away evil!! Come good luck!”（鬼は外！福は内！）と大声で叫んでくれました。 今年が、福の多い一年になりますように！ An ogre, no wait . . . TWO ogres came to visit Kakuozan International Preschool this year. Many Hatchlings, Ducklings and Hummingbirds were scared and cried but they practised how to throw the beans at the ogres to chase away bad spirits and invite good luck. The older students were more excited and many of them enjoyed chasing after the ogres and being chased by them. We all had fun yelling “Go away evil!! Come good luck!” We hope to have a lot of luck this year!

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールでは冬季にプリスクールクラス、幼児英会話クラス、サタデークラスの子供たちから大人気のイベント、スノーヒルトリップという雪そりと子供スキーのイベントを行っています♪千種区の城山公園で待ち合わせをし、愛知県名古屋市から約1時間半かけて長野県駒ケ根高原スキー場までバスで出かけます。子どもたちは車内で先生やお友だちと楽しくおしゃべりしたり、ママが作ってくれたお弁当を食べたり、雪化粧へと変わる景色をワクワクしながら見たりして過ごしました。 そしてお待ちかねの、そり＆スキータイム！！！そりチームとスキーチームに分かれ、スキーチームは現地のインストラクターの方に教えてもらいます。最初は高いところから滑ってくることにまだ慣れていなかったお友だちも、慣れてくると先生のサポートなしで何度も何度もそりやスキーをおもいっきり楽しんでいました♪ 楽しい時間はあっという間。。。帰りのバスではお菓子を食べたりして過ごし、たくさん体を動かしたので、疲れて寝てしまう子もたくさんいました。新しいお友だちを作ったりして、楽しい思い出がたーくさんできました☺                                   This year’s Snow Hill trip was very fun and exciting for everyone, specially preschool students! 今年も名古屋市千種区にある日本庭園揚輝荘でエッグハントを行いました。うさぎの耳を付けてきてくれたお友だちや、見つけた卵を入れるバスケットを準備してきてくれたお友だちもいて、みんなやる気マンマン！卵の中にはキャンディーが入っていて、子供たちは夢中になって卵を探し、かごの中はお菓子でいっぱいになりました♪お菓子が入った卵とは別に、金色の卵を準備し、子どもたちだけではなくお父さんやお母さんも一緒になって探してくれました。子ども達が” Where is the golden egg?” と英語で必死に探す姿が可愛いかったです。金色の卵をゲットできたお友だちはプレゼントをもらって大喜びでした！！！ハッピーイースター🐰 This year’s Snow Hill trip was very fun and exciting for everyone, specially preschool students!
