覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールのParrots(年中)クラスではとても充実した毎日を過ごしています。可愛いクラフトを作ったり、リーディングやライティングも頑張っています。最近の1番楽しかったアクティビティは科学の実験です！

瓶にお酢をいっぱい注ぎ、その中に生卵を入れます。毎日卵がどう変化していくか子供達と観察しました。何が起こると思いますか？子供達にも何が起こるか、卵がどうなるか問いかけました。子供達は様々な想像力を働かせて推測してくれました。でも誰も結果がこうなるなんて想像できませんでした。

卵の殻は溶けて殻はゴムのように弾力を持ち、生卵の中身が透けて見えます。そして何と手で持つこともできるのです。この結果に全員が驚き、目をキラキラさせて大喜び！お迎えの時に大興奮でママ達に話す姿が可愛かったです。

さて12月にはクリスマスコンサートがあります。今月からリハーサルが始まります。一生懸命練習していますので楽しみにしていてくださいね！

Parrots class has been very busy this term! We have made many cute crafts, and practiced our reading and writing. The most exciting thing we did was a science experiment. We all filled a jar with vinegar and put an egg inside. We checked it every day for a week and it was so exciting! What do you think happened to the egg? We were able to ask many questions and guess what would happen but we didn’t expect the shell to completely change color.

We have also started rehearsing for our Christmas concert this month and are busy singing and dancing every day. We are very excited to showcase our play to our family and friends.
