CPR Training at Kakuozan International Preschool
Kakuozan International Preschool had its annual CPR training at the start of June. Every year, Chikusa City Fire Department sends a trained firefighter to lead the class and they explain to all Kakuozan International Preschool staff how to react in different emergency situations.
Many different emergency situations where covered for all age ranges, from infants to adults. Staff were taught how to use a defibrillator (AED), plus additional training in: heart massage, bone fractures, excessive bleeding, head injuries, accidental ingestion, sudden unconsciousness, seizures and how to use an EpiPen. It was a great, educational training day!
