Student at KIPS were excited to visit Kidzania Koshien in Hyogo this year! After catching an early morning bus all together in Nagoya, we drove to Hyogo where we were greeted by Kidzania staff, changed into uniforms and had orientation. The children stepped into a miniature city where they were in charge!! They chose different jobs, followed instructions, worked together, and discovered what it is like to have a real job.

From helping customers to creating products, the children had the opportunity to try a variety of hands-on activities like making ice cream, putting out a fire and delivering packages.

It was wonderful to see the children making their own choices, communicating with one another, and trying new things. Some activities even allowed them to take home something they had made as a special souvenir of their experience.

It was a busy, exciting, and memorable day. Perhaps we have a few future chefs, firefighters, designers, doctors, or business owners among us!✨
