覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールでは、万が一、大きな地震が起こったことを予測し、年に2回保護者の方々にもご参加いただき引き取り訓練を行なっています。スクールは親御さんのいない中で大切なお子さんの命を預かる場所でもあります。どんなことが起こっても子ども達の命を守り、安全に親御さんに子ども達を引き渡せるようこのような訓練はとても大切になります。
今回は授業中に地震が起きた設定です。地震が起こったら子ども達と先生はテーブルの下に隠れます。先生達は万が一のために笛を持っています。第1避難所であるグラウンドまで防災頭巾を被って避難し、そこで保護者にお子さんを引き渡しました。全員が先生達の指示をしっかり聞き、本番のように避難ができました。

This month at Kakuozan International Preschool, our preschoolers had a big earthquake drill. During class, the teachers practice with their students by hiding under tables and blowing the whistle. We then walk to a nearby field and await our parents arrival. It was just like a real drill so we were proud to see our students walking quietly and listening to their teachers. Good Job!
