覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少前Ducklingsクラスではモータースキル高める練習をしています。穴通しをしたり、線の周りに丸のシールを貼ったりします。今月のテーマがスポーツについてなので子ども達はサッカーボールやバスケットボールの穴通しを楽しみました。また文字を使ったモータースキルの練習も楽しく行いました。よくできましたね！ Ducklings are building their fine motor skills through activities such as threading, stacking and placing dots along a line. The theme is All About Sports so they loved threading soccer and basketballs. They also practiced the letters in the alphabet and practiced sticking dot stickers along the letters. Good job!

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少以上のプルスクールコース，サタデーコースの子ども達は毎月、子ども版プレゼンテーション、Show & Tellがあります。クラスのみんなの前で好きなスポーツ，食べ物、ゲーム，本などについて発表します。Show & Tellは子ども達の自信をつけ，人前でどのように話すかを学ぶ良い機会になります。発表の後は子ども達からの質問が飛び交います。回数を重ねるにつれどんどん成長していく姿が見られとても嬉しく思います。 Our Eaglets, Parrots, Hummingbirds and Saturday Course students have Show and Tell every month. They can stand up in front of their friends and talk about their favorite sports, food, games and English books. Show and Tell is a great way to help build confidence and learn how to speak in front of others. After presenting, friends can ask questions!

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年長Eagletsクラスの子ども達は日泰寺へ行きました。木や草の中の虫を探し、まる虫や蟻を見つけ観察しました。子ども達は自然探索が大好き。様々な自然に出会い，観察し多くを学んでいって欲しいです。 We enjoyed looking at the bugs in the grass and trees at beautiful Nittaiji Temple. We found roly polys, ants and little bugs together. It was fun to explore nature.

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールではスポーツウエアデーを行いました。サッカー，バスケット，水泳，柔道，野球，バレエ，陸上など様々なスポーツウエアで子ども達は登園しました。午後はダンスパーティ！最高の1日を過ごしました。 The theme this month at KIPS is “All About Sports,” and preschool students enjoyed dressing up in their favorite sporty outfits and coming to school. We had a dance party, ran at the Running Field and practiced for Sports Day. It was so much fun.

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールでは瑞穂区にあるパロマ競技場のアリーナで運動会を行いました。かけっこ、リレー，玉入れ、綱引き，障害物競走と全力を尽くし，お友達，先生，家族と最高に楽しい一日を過ごしました。最高に楽しかったー！と子ども達だけでなく親御さんからもたくさん声がありました。ま来年を楽しみにしていてくださいね！ We enjoyed our annual Sports Day at Mizuho Sports Arena! Preschool families came together for a fun day of sprinting, relay, ball-in-net games, tug o war, relay race and obstacle course. It was so much fun to cheer our friends and family on.

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年中Partotsクラスの今日は大忙しです。カラフルな手形を使ったアートを作成し、その後は体育の時間で身体を動かします。そしてクイズ。午前中だけで様々なアクティビティを行いました。楽しくできましたね！ Parrots students had a busy day. They created a wonderful, colorful handprint craft and practiced moving their body in their PE class. We always try our best during our quiz and are learning to play together nicely.

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年長Eagletsクラスでは氷オニが流行っています。氷オニのルールをご存知ですか？オニにタッチされたら凍ってしまいます。あなたを溶かしてくれるのは友達だけ。子ども達は必死になって仲間を助けようと駆け回ります。氷オニ楽しかったね。 Do you know how to play freeze tag? Eaglets children do! If they are “it,” they can run fast around the park and tag their friends. If you get tagged you need to FREEZE! Only your friends can unfreeze you. It is so much fun to play.

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少Hummingbirdsクラスの子ども達は自分でアルファベットをなぞったり書けるようになってきました。もうすぐ家での宿題が始まりますが子ども達の準備もできてきました。スクールでは子ども達をたくさん褒めながら、鉛筆の持ち方からアルファベットの書く場所，書き順も1番初めに教えていきます。「楽しくやる」ことが上達の近道です。 Hummingbirds students are learning to write and trace the alphabet. Soon they will have homework to take home and write their name. They can listen to their teachers and hold their pencil just like an alligator.🐊✍ Good job!

In May our preschool students went to Nagoya Science Museum for an educational and fun-filled day of exploring and learning. We learned about tornados, gas, water play and dinosaurs. It was fun to eat lunch together and have a picnic too.

We loved wearing our favorite colors from head to toe and doing a fashion show with our classmates. Some children wore multiple colors because they just couldn’t pick their favorite color! It was a bright and happy event at KIPS
