覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年長Eagletsクラスの子どもたちは、名古屋市の千種警察署へ社会見学に出かけました。

到着すると、警察官の皆さまがあたたかく迎えてくださり、子どもたちはワクワクした表情に。警察官のお仕事について、「困っている人を助けること」「地域の安全を守ること」など、大切な役割をわかりやすく教えていただきました。

特に盛り上がったのは、警察官の制服を着せていただき、本物の白バイの前で写真撮影をした体験です。ライトや無線機に目を輝かせながら、「これは何ですか？」「どうやって使うの？」と積極的に質問する姿がとても印象的でした。真剣に話を聞く姿から、子どもたちの成長も感じられました。

また、「困ったときの助けの求め方」や「地域で警察官がどのようにサポートしているか」など、防犯・安全についても学ぶことができました。実際の場所で本物に触れる体験は、子どもたちにとって何よりも心に残る学びです。

Our Eaglets class students enjoyed an exciting mini field trip to Chikusa Police Station.

The children were very excited as we arrived and were warmly welcomed by the police officers. They learned about an officer’s important job of helping people and keeping the community safe.

One of the highlights was dressing up in police uniforms and posing on real police bikes!. The children were fascinated by the lights and radio. They asked lots of great questions and listened very carefully.

The officers also talked to the children about safety, such as how to ask for help and how police officers support people in the neighborhood. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn about their community in a real and meaningful way.

We are very grateful to the officers for taking the time to welcome our students and teach them so much. The Eaglets returned to school full of stories and excitement from their special visit! 🚓✨
