今日はパターンデー！覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの子ども達は、しま模様や水玉、花柄などパターン柄の思い思いの服装で登園しました。ランウェイを作ってファッションショーも行いました。子ども達は自分の順番が来ると音楽に合わせて自信満々にポーズをとります。とても可愛い1日でした！ We celebrated Patterns Day at our school. Children came to school wearing their favorite clothes covered in patterns, colors and shapes! We loved walking down the the runway and showing off our clothes to everyone.

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクール年少前Ducklingsクラスではフリープレイの時間に歌を歌ったり、踊ったり、好きなおもちゃで遊んで過ごしています。最近の流行りは”Let it Go!” 毎日大きな声で小さい体をめいいっぱい使って表現します！Ducklings love singing songs together all day! Recently they have been singing “Let It Go,” from Frozen every 👏single 👏 day👏 after lunch while they play together. They sing as loud as they can complete with gestures and big smiles. Go Ducklings!

子ども達が待ちに待っていたお泊まり会を行いました。今年のお泊まり会のテーマは『スーパーマリオお泊まり会！』子供たちはスーパーマリオやピーチ姫、キノピオ、ヨッシーなど、スーパーマリオの好きなキャラクターになって参加しました。楽しいゲームやピーチパフェ作り、ピニャータなど最高に楽しい時間を過ごしました。お友達や先生とスクールで一緒に泊まり、特別な時間を過ごしました！

秋になり少し涼しくなりましたね。覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールでは、朝のモーニングランニングプログラムを再開しました。モーニングランニングプログラムでは、週一回近くのグランドに集合し、80メートルのトラックを1周から3周かけっこします。基礎体力をつけ、努力することやあきらめないこと、そしてチームワークを学びます。覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの子供たちは、3年間毎週朝走ることによって運動能力の向上も目指します！ Autumn is finally here and children at Kakuozan International Preschool go the field next to Shiroyama Park and run laps and marathons to build their stamina and team spirit! It is fun to run together

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクール年少Hummingbirdsクラスのランチタイムの様子です。スクールではスクールランチをオーダーすることができます。子供たちはランチタイムが大好き！お友達と色々なお話をしながら楽しく食事をとります。もちろん英語での会話です。Where did you go yesterday?Can we play together after lunch?そんな会話が聞こえてきます。苦手な野菜もお友達と一緒だったら食べることができるんですよ。 The Hummingbirds children at Kakuozan International Preschool enjoy eating lunch together. They like to chat with their friends and try new vegetables and food they may not usually eat!

 消防士になりきろう！ごっこ遊びー表現する力を高める！覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少前Ducklingsクラスでは消防士になって火を消し仲間を助けるというごっこ遊びをレッスンで行いました。子ども達はホースを持って水で火を消しお友達の恐竜を火事から助け出します。ごっこ遊びを通して子ども達の想像力、創造性を養い、心の発達、表現する力、協調性やコミュニケーション力を高め、ルールを守るといった社会性などを養います。子ども達は夢中で大好きな恐竜達を火の中から助け出すことができました！ Ducklings became firefighters!! They practiced running to a fire hose and putting out fires. How many fires could they put out? Could they save the dinosaur and run back to their friends in time?!

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少前々クラス1歳、2歳Hatchlingsクラスは毎日満面の笑顔で登園してきます。英語100パーセントの環境でお友達や先生と一緒に楽しく1日を過ごします。アルファベットを言えるようになったり、英語の歌を歌ったり、英語の習得はもちろん、1人で靴が履けるようになったり、帰りの準備を全部できるようになったり、自分で自分のことができるようにもなっていきます。これからの成長がとても楽しみなクラスになります。 Our little Hatchlings students come to school ready to have fun! They are learning to be more independent, make friends, play and spend time with their teachers.

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクール年中Parrotsクラスでは、側転、ブリッジ、手押し車を体育の時間に練習しました。お友達の足を支えての手押し車は楽しくて、クラス中に笑い声が響いていました。ブリッジもみんな上手にできます。最後は側転！側転も一生懸命練習しできるようになりました。体育の時間はいつも楽しいですね。Learning how to cartwheel, bridges and wheelbarrow are challenging but really fun!! Parrots class are practicing during their P.E. classes and are having a blast. We tried our best to hold our friends legs so they didn’t fall down. Many of us could bridges very well! Eventually with practice we will be able to cartwheel as well! We can do it!

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年長Eagletsクラスでは動物の動きについて学びました。サイコロ振って出た動物の動きを想像しながら表現します。ヘビはどう動くかな？馬はどうやって走る？子ども達は自分でイメージしてその動物の動きを表現することができました。

Summer has officially ended, but the fun continues! Eaglets were lucky to go to Yokiso Park to enjoy their last water fight. After filling up their water gun, they had fun splashing their friends and teachers. It was a wonderful way to say goodbye to the hot summer months!
