今月、覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年長Eagletsクラスと年中Parrotsクラスの子どもたちは、平和公園のメタセコイア広場で今年初めての「ネイチャーマラソンデー」を楽しみました！ この特別なアウトドアイベントでは、自然の中を思いっきり走るだけでなく、イースターエッグハントや、今年度から加わった新しい先生たちの紹介もありました。 2025年に入って初めてのマラソンイベントということもあり、みんなワクワクしながら元気いっぱいに走り、春の自然を満喫しました。子どもたちは笑顔で、自然の中でのびのびと活動する喜びを体験しました！ Our new Eaglets (5～6 years of age), and Parrots (4～5 years of age) enjoyed an Easter egg hunt, teacher introduction and a mini marathon at Metasequoia Grove in Heiwa Park. It was very exciting to spend the day outdoors together moving our bodies and hunting for Easter eggs. We are looking forward to watching our students grow and learn this year. Good job everyone!

名古屋市の覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールでは、1ー2歳クラスHatchlingsの子どもたちが毎日元気いっぱいに過ごしています。今週は「ハワイごっこ」や「ドライブごっこ」、そして「虹色ビーズのボトル遊び」など、五感を使ったクリエイティブなアクティビティを楽しみました。週に2回は近くの公園へお散歩に行き、車を眺めたり自然に触れたりすることで、外の世界への好奇心も育んでいます。小さな子どもたちがのびのびと成長し、毎日を笑顔で過ごす姿に、私たちスタッフも心が温かくなります。Hatchlingsのこれからの成長に、どうぞご期待ください！ Our Hatchlings class are small, but mighty! This week they have been enjoying pretending to go to Hawaii, driving cars and shaking bottles filled with rainbow beads. We go to the park twice a week and enjoy watching the cars drive past. Everyday is so much fun for our Hatchlings students. We are excited to watch them grow.

名古屋市の覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールでは、新学年のスタートを祝して、年少前クラス「Ducklings」と年少クラス「Hummingbirds」の子どもたちが、歴史ある揚輝荘でイースターエッグハントを楽しみました。 キャンディーやシールが入った色とりどりのエッグを探す中で、「ゴールデンエッグ（特別な卵）」を見つけたラッキーなお友だちは、スペシャルな賞品をゲット！子どもたちは目を輝かせながら、夢中でたくさんの卵を拾っていました。 イベントの前には、新しい先生の紹介もあり、子どもたちはドキドキ・ワクワクの新しいスタートを切りました。 名古屋の自然豊かな場所で行われる、こうした季節のイベントは、子どもたちの想像力と社会性を育てる大切な機会となっています。今年度も、笑顔と成長あふれる一年にしていきましょう！ Welcome to a new school year! Our Ducklings and Hummingbirds children enjoyed an egg hunt at Yokiso Park. Children looked for eggs filled with candy and stickers while also looking for the “shiny” egg!! The lucky winner received a special prize. Good job!After our Easter Egg hunt we had a new teacher introduction. Let’s have a great year together.

Spring School is all about Easter, games, egg hunts and fun crafts! We are having fun everyday meeting new friends, playing together and learning in an all English environment.

雪そりすべり＆スキー教室〜色々な経験をする〜覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの子ども達は楽しみにしていた雪そり滑り＆スキーに長野まで出かけました。雪遊びもスキーも最高に楽しかったですね！！！真っ白な雪の中を子ども達は思い切りそりで滑り，お友達と一緒に雪遊びをして最高の時間を過ごしました。 We went to the Nagano for our annual snow trip! We met early in the morning to catch the bus to #komaganeskiresort and spent the day skiing, sledding and playing in the snow. For many children it was their first time sledding and skiing. After a fun day outdoors, we ate snacks on the bus and enjoyed chatting on the bus. It was so much fun! See you again next year

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少Hummingbirdsクラスはバレンタインの日に向けてカード作りをしています。はさみを正しく使いハート型に画用紙を切ることができました。切り終わったらみんな”I’m finished!”と大きな声で先生に伝え，次はリーディング。みんなで仲良く本を読みました。 The Blue Hummingbirds class are busy making a Valentines card. They are learning how to use scissors to cut hearts and are doing to fantastic job!!! After they cut out colorful heart shapes from paper, they tell their teachers, “I’m finished!” When they are done, they sit down and read books together. Way to go Blue Hummingbirds!!

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールのある名古屋で雪がたくさんっ降りました。1-2歳クラスHatchilingsクラスでは窓から雪降るのをみんなで観察しました。綺麗な冷たい雪にみんなワクワク。雪観察の後は色や形のマッチングゲームをしたり，粘土で遊びました。小さな指を器用に動かしながら色々な形を作ろうとしている姿が可愛かったです! Our Hatchlings children had a fun day. It was snowing in Nagoya so we couldn’t go to the park, but we watched snowflakes fall from the window! We also matched colors and shapes together one by one. We also enjoyed learning about playdough and touching it. It was fun to touch and make shapes with it. Good job Hatchlings!

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少から年長の子供たちは毎月子ども版のプレゼンテーションを行います。今月のテーマは好きな本について。子どもたちは自分の好きな本をお友達や先生に紹介するのを楽しみにしています。この発表は子どもたちの自信を伸ばしたり、人前で自分の意見を述べる練習をする良い機会となります。発表の後はQ&A。お友達からの質問に答えていきます。 Every month our preschoolers prepare for Show and Tell. This month the theme is, “My Favourite English Book,” and Eaglets, Parrots and Hummingbirds students are very excited to show their favourite books to their friends and teachers. Show and Tell is a great way for children to develop their confidence and practice speaking in front of others. Their classmates also learn to listen quietly and ask interesting questions.

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールに鬼が来たー!もう1匹来たー！ 1歳児クラス(Hatchlingsクラス)と2歳児クラス(Ducklingsクラス)、年少さん(Hummingbirdsクラス)のお友だちは今年も大泣きでしたが、一生懸命、豆を投げて鬼を追い払いました。年中さん(Parrotsクラス)、年長さん(Eagletsクラス)では怖がるお友だちもいましたが、楽しそうに”Go away evil!! Come good luck!”（鬼は外！福は内！）と大声で叫んでくれました。今年が、福の多い一年になりますように！ “Go away Ogre! Welcome happiness!!” On Friday an ogre came to both the South and North Campus to visit the children. Some of our students were scared, but everyone was so brave! We practiced throwing makeshift beans to scare the ogre away and to bring good luck. Good job!!

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少前Yellow and Orange Ducklingsクラスは最近書く練習を始めました。正しく鉛筆を持ち、線をなぞります。何でもそうですが、始めが肝心。スクールでは正しく鉛筆を持ち、書き順や書く場所を最初にきちんと教えていきます。また、科学の実験では、水と油を混ぜる実験をしました。水と油が混ざり合わないことに子どもたちはびっくりしていました。なぜ？どうして？と疑問を持つことがとても大切です。 The Yellow and Orange Ducklings class children enjoy their daily lessons. They recently started a tracing and first writing notebook to practice holding a pencil, drawing lines and tracing shapes! They also loved their science lesson. Children shook the jar of oil and water and were surprised when they didn’t mix! Teachers challenged them by asking “why!?!”
