走って、描いて、遊んで学ぶ！Hummingbirdsクラスの元気な1週間 覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの3〜4歳児クラスHummingbirdsの子どもたちは、新しいクラスにもすっかり慣れてきて、毎日楽しくレッスンに取り組んでいます！ 毎週水曜日には、年中Parrotsクラスや年長Eagletsクラスのお友だちと一緒に、ランニングプログラムに参加し、体力や持久力を育んでいます。 アート活動では、野菜スタンプを使った絵画制作や、色画用紙をちぎって作るモザイクアートにも挑戦！子どもたちの創造力や色彩感覚がぐんぐん育っています。 さらに、もうすぐ行われるスポーツデー（運動会）に向けて、マットでのごろごろ転がり運動や、お友だちへのボール渡しなど、楽しみながら身体を動かす練習も始まっています。 Hummingbirdsの子どもたちは、遊びと学びを通じて、心も体も大きく成長中です！ Our Hummingbirds students (3-4 years of age) are settling into their classes and enjoying their lessons every day! On Wednesday they run with the Parrots and Eaglets students as part of the Running Program to build their strength and stamina. Hummingbirds painted with vegetables and created their own mosaic art using cut up construction paper. They are also practicing for our Sports Day by rolling on the mat and passing balls to their friends.

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの子どもたちは名城公園（#meijopark）へ遠足に出かけました！暖かく、外で思いっきり遊ぶにはちょうどいいお天気。自然に囲まれながら、子どもたちは元気いっぱいに活動しました。 1-2歳クラスHatchlings、年少前Ducklingsクラス、年少Hummingbirdsクラスの子どもたちは保護者の方と一緒に、年中Parrotsクラスと年長Eagletsクラスの子どもたちは先生たちと参加しました。 公園の遊具エリアでは笑顔がはじけ、サークルタイムでは歌やお話で盛り上がり、そして木々に囲まれた場所でのんびりピクニックタイム！子どもたちは自然とのふれあいの中で、たくさんの発見と学びを楽しんでいました。 遊んで、笑って、食べて、学んで。心に残る素敵な1日となりました！ Our preschool course students and families enjoyed a field trip to Meijo park last week. The weather was warm and slightly overcast, so it was the perfect day to spend it outside, exploring nature. Our Hatchlings, Ducklings and Hummingbirds children attended with their parents, while the Parrots and Eaglets went with their teachers. We played at the play area, enjoyed Circle Time and had a picnic. It was a wonderful, fun day!

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年中Purple Parrotsクラスの子どもたちは、ジェシカ先生とミホ先生と一緒に「マスアクティビティ・ステーション（算数活動ステーション）」を楽しみました！ この日はグループに分かれて、さまざまな楽しく学べる算数アクティビティにチャレンジ！あるテーブルでは、砂を使って文字や数字を描く感覚あそびに取り組みました。別のグループでは、カードを使って数字合わせゲームやGo Fish（神経衰弱に似たカードゲーム）をしながら、数字の一致や数の認識を楽しみました。 子どもたちは遊びを通して自然に算数の力を身につけ、仲間と一緒に学ぶ楽しさを実感していました。とても充実したレッスンになりました！ The Purple Parrots with Jessica and Miho enjoy Math Activity Stations! Students split into different groups to enjoy a variety of different activities. One table played with sand and drew letters and numbers. Another group learned how to play Go Fish using cards and a number matching game. It was a fun lesson and a great way to learn together.

今年も覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールでは「スーパースライム＆アートデー」が開催され、昨年よりさらにパワーアップして帰ってきました！子どもたちは全身白い服で登校し、楽しいゲームやスカベンジャーハント（宝探し）を楽しんだ後、みんなで巨大なスライムボールを作りました！ ランチの後は、いよいよお待ちかねの「思いっきり汚れる時間」！手や足を使ってみんなで協力してグループペインティングをしたり、お互いにペイントを塗り合ったりして、大盛り上がりでした。子どもたちがアートとスライムで全身を使って楽しめる、最高の1日になりました！ We had so much fun at our annual Super Art and Slime Day this year. Children arrived in all white and went home in super colorful clothes! Although it was messy, it was fun to paint our hands and feet… and then each other!

今月、覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年長Eagletsクラスと年中Parrotsクラスの子どもたちは、平和公園のメタセコイア広場で今年初めての「ネイチャーマラソンデー」を楽しみました！ この特別なアウトドアイベントでは、自然の中を思いっきり走るだけでなく、イースターエッグハントや、今年度から加わった新しい先生たちの紹介もありました。 2025年に入って初めてのマラソンイベントということもあり、みんなワクワクしながら元気いっぱいに走り、春の自然を満喫しました。子どもたちは笑顔で、自然の中でのびのびと活動する喜びを体験しました！ Our new Eaglets (5～6 years of age), and Parrots (4～5 years of age) enjoyed an Easter egg hunt, teacher introduction and a mini marathon at Metasequoia Grove in Heiwa Park. It was very exciting to spend the day outdoors together moving our bodies and hunting for Easter eggs. We are looking forward to watching our students grow and learn this year. Good job everyone!

名古屋市の覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールでは、1ー2歳クラスHatchlingsの子どもたちが毎日元気いっぱいに過ごしています。今週は「ハワイごっこ」や「ドライブごっこ」、そして「虹色ビーズのボトル遊び」など、五感を使ったクリエイティブなアクティビティを楽しみました。週に2回は近くの公園へお散歩に行き、車を眺めたり自然に触れたりすることで、外の世界への好奇心も育んでいます。小さな子どもたちがのびのびと成長し、毎日を笑顔で過ごす姿に、私たちスタッフも心が温かくなります。Hatchlingsのこれからの成長に、どうぞご期待ください！ Our Hatchlings class are small, but mighty! This week they have been enjoying pretending to go to Hawaii, driving cars and shaking bottles filled with rainbow beads. We go to the park twice a week and enjoy watching the cars drive past. Everyday is so much fun for our Hatchlings students. We are excited to watch them grow.

名古屋市の覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールでは、新学年のスタートを祝して、年少前クラス「Ducklings」と年少クラス「Hummingbirds」の子どもたちが、歴史ある揚輝荘でイースターエッグハントを楽しみました。 キャンディーやシールが入った色とりどりのエッグを探す中で、「ゴールデンエッグ（特別な卵）」を見つけたラッキーなお友だちは、スペシャルな賞品をゲット！子どもたちは目を輝かせながら、夢中でたくさんの卵を拾っていました。 イベントの前には、新しい先生の紹介もあり、子どもたちはドキドキ・ワクワクの新しいスタートを切りました。 名古屋の自然豊かな場所で行われる、こうした季節のイベントは、子どもたちの想像力と社会性を育てる大切な機会となっています。今年度も、笑顔と成長あふれる一年にしていきましょう！ Welcome to a new school year! Our Ducklings and Hummingbirds children enjoyed an egg hunt at Yokiso Park. Children looked for eggs filled with candy and stickers while also looking for the “shiny” egg!! The lucky winner received a special prize. Good job!After our Easter Egg hunt we had a new teacher introduction. Let’s have a great year together.

Spring School is all about Easter, games, egg hunts and fun crafts! We are having fun everyday meeting new friends, playing together and learning in an all English environment.

雪そりすべり＆スキー教室〜色々な経験をする〜覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの子ども達は楽しみにしていた雪そり滑り＆スキーに長野まで出かけました。雪遊びもスキーも最高に楽しかったですね！！！真っ白な雪の中を子ども達は思い切りそりで滑り，お友達と一緒に雪遊びをして最高の時間を過ごしました。 We went to the Nagano for our annual snow trip! We met early in the morning to catch the bus to #komaganeskiresort and spent the day skiing, sledding and playing in the snow. For many children it was their first time sledding and skiing. After a fun day outdoors, we ate snacks on the bus and enjoyed chatting on the bus. It was so much fun! See you again next year

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少Hummingbirdsクラスはバレンタインの日に向けてカード作りをしています。はさみを正しく使いハート型に画用紙を切ることができました。切り終わったらみんな”I’m finished!”と大きな声で先生に伝え，次はリーディング。みんなで仲良く本を読みました。 The Blue Hummingbirds class are busy making a Valentines card. They are learning how to use scissors to cut hearts and are doing to fantastic job!!! After they cut out colorful heart shapes from paper, they tell their teachers, “I’m finished!” When they are done, they sit down and read books together. Way to go Blue Hummingbirds!!
