木々も色付き紅葉が綺麗な時期になりました。千種区覚王山辺りにも沢山自然があります。今日は年少と年長クラスが一緒に公園遊びへ出かけます。縦割りで年齢が違うお友達と一緒に遊ぶことも大切。歩くときに年長さんが年少さんの手を繋ぎ、道の中側に入れてあげます。年長は2月までに逆上がりができるように猛練習中。落ち葉やドングリもいっぱい拾って、楽しい一日を過ごしました。 Today the Hummingbirds and Eaglets students played at the park. The fall weather is perfect for rummaging for acorns, playing tag, searching for flowers and picking up leaves. The Eaglets are practicing forward and backward rolls on the bar and can jump up very high. Hummingbirds enjoyed playing with the fallen leaves and pretending to feed the squirrel statue. It was a beautiful day to play outdoors.

Halloween is one of our favorite times of the year! This year our students (and parents) went all out. We were excited to see Spiderman, Ironman, Jack Sparrow, many many princesses, various animals and even a dinosaur princess combo!! Due to the rain the party was moved indoors but we rotated around to our different stations. The Red Parrots room was the face painting room. The Purple Parrots room was the craft room. This year we had a lot of fun at our Sleepover event. The theme was Pokemon! On day one we made a pokemon themed craft, our own dessert and a fun night walk with a movie before bed time. Day two was so much fun because we had a treasure hunt and smashed a pinata to find candy and sweets. Everyone enjoyed sleeping together in the school gym and many new friends were made. What a fun event! Freeze Dance! Pokemon Pinata Dance Party Movie Night Yummy Dinner Sleeping together in the gym Treasure Hunt around the school… could we catch them all? We enjoyed visiting Aichi Farm for our Fall Field Trip. The weather was sunny with a slight chill so it was the perfect day to explore outdoors. Hummingbirds, Parrots and Eaglets students caught the train and we met the Hatchlings and Ducklings parents and students at the farm. The flower maze was bright and colorful. It smelled lovely! All the students experienced feeding the animals in the petting zoo. We enjoyed meeting deer, rabbits, ducks, goats and sheep. After relaxing on the grass and eating our lunch picnic style it was time to catch the train and meet our parents at the train station. What a wonderful day!

The Red Parrots class painted with fruits and vegetables in class. They enjoyed using a variety of different produce such as kale, okra, kiwis and even onions! By painting with vegetables, they discovered that it was fun to make unusual patterns. Some fruits and vegetables were big and some were small but they were all interesting to touch and paint with. What kind of patterns and shapes can you see?

On Wednesdays at Kakuozan International Preschool, teachers and students are busy with Grammar, Reading and Creative Writing lessons. Currently the students are working hard to prepare for their upcoming speech contests by writing and memorizing their speeches as well as adding exciting gestures and props.

Even though the weather is too hot to go outside, we still find time to play and move our bodies! Under the guidance of Ryan and Miho, the Red Parrots class enjoy practicing maneuvering a soccer ball around cones. It helps to build up their coordination and they enjoy cheering their friends on. Who can score a goal against a teacher?!
