Blue and Green Hummingbirds are getting ready for Setsubun! Setsubun “Bean Throwing Festival” is a Japanese festival held in February and is a time to ward off evil spirits and welcome good fortune for the coming year! Students at Kakuozan International Preschool practice saying “Go away Ogre!”

The ogre is coming… OH NO! Using paper cups, construction paper, string and various craft material, our Hummingirds students enjoyed creating their own ogre. Are they ready for when the real ogre comes to visit?
