パジャマデー〜ごっこ遊び〜覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールではパジャマデーのイベントを行いました。子ども達は思い思いのパジャマで登校。先生達もみんなパジャマです。この日は一日中パジャマで過ごします♪レッスンでは寝る時の真似をしたりごっこ遊びも行いました。ファッションショーや瞑想も行いリラックスした楽しい1日となりました。 We all came to school in our most comfortable PJ’s. There was a fashion show and so many children had cute matching sets. Some students practiced meditation and relaxed together.
水遊び〜創造性を育てる〜覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少前Ducklingsでは子ども達の大好きな水遊びを行いました。いつもこ使っている手洗い場をなんと水中にいるかのようにカラフルなセロハンで飾り付け、シンクに水を貼っておもちゃで遊びました。子供たちはびしょ濡れになりながら最高の笑顔を見せてくれました。 We decorated the washlet area with streamers to make it look like we were underwater, then filled up the basin and tubs with water and toys to play it. It was fun to splash the and get a little wet.
覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの子ども達は兵庫県西宮市にあるキッザニア甲子園にお仕事体験に行ってきました！このプログラムは年に一回の大人気プログラム。キッザニアではイングリッシュプログラムに参加し、消防士、おむすび屋さん、アナウンサー、パイロットなどの体験をしました。子ども達は目を輝かせながら、最高の1日を過ごしました。Good job everyone! We went to Kidzania Koshien in Hyogo Prefecture for a day of fun and learning. Students from KIPS participated in the English Program and enjoyed being firefighters, making rice balls, work at a voice recording studio and fly a plane. It was an awesome day!
覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少前Ducklingsクラスの子ども達は七夕に何を願ったのでしょうか。子ども達は笹の枝にシールや星で色付けした短冊を吊るしました。お互いに出来上がった短冊を見せ合い楽しんでいる様子が見られました。 What did our Ducklings students wish for on Tanabata? They loved decorating stars with bright stickers and hung it up on bamboo. Everyone enjoyed showing off their lovely star festival craft.
覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年長Eagletsクラスの子ども達は七夕に何のお願い事をしたのかな？今年は将来何になりたいかを書く子ども達が多い年でした。提灯の飾りも作り笹の枝に飾りました。作った短冊と飾りは笹の枝と共に家に持ち帰りました。みんなの願い事が叶いますように！ What do you wish for? This year many Eaglets wrote about their future dreams for Tanabata and enjoyed making a lantern craft. After hanging their wish on bamboo, they even got to take some home with them!
覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少Hummingbirdsクラスは公園遊びが大好き。年中Parrotsクラスや年長Eagletsクラスのお友達とも一緒に縦割りで遊ぶこともあります。年齢関係なく鬼ごっこをしたり、滑り台やブランコも一緒に楽しみます。 Hummingbirds class love playing at Shiroyama park. Together with their older friends in the Parrots and Eaglets class, they practice playing tag, going down the slide and playing on the swings.
覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの先生達は心配蘇生とファーストエイドのトレーニングを千種消防署の消防士より受講しました。人形を使ってのトレーニングは緊張感があり，万が一の事故の際に冷静に正しく動けるよう何度も練習をしました。消防署によるトレーニングは年に一度ですがスクールでは定期的に独自でトレーニングを行っています。 It’s that time of year again! KIPS staff spent the day doing CPR and first aid training with the fire department. We learned and refreshed our knowledge and practiced on real life dummies. It was an informative and valuable learning experience for all our teachers and staff.
覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年中Parrotsクラスではおもちゃの車で絵を描くアクティビティをしました。車を絵の具にドボンと付けて自分の思うままに車を画用紙の上を走らせます。明るいカラフルな色で力作が出来上がりました！何でも絵を描く道具になるということ、常識にとらわれず工夫することも学びました。 What kind of designs can we make we dip toy cars into paint and race them on large sheets of paper? Bright and colorful designs! Parrots class students had a lot of fun learning and creating art together.
覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少前Ducklingsクラスではモータースキル高める練習をしています。穴通しをしたり、線の周りに丸のシールを貼ったりします。今月のテーマがスポーツについてなので子ども達はサッカーボールやバスケットボールの穴通しを楽しみました。また文字を使ったモータースキルの練習も楽しく行いました。よくできましたね！ Ducklings are building their fine motor skills through activities such as threading, stacking and placing dots along a line. The theme is All About Sports so they loved threading soccer and basketballs. They also practiced the letters in the alphabet and practiced sticking dot stickers along the letters. Good job!
覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少以上のプルスクールコース，サタデーコースの子ども達は毎月、子ども版プレゼンテーション、Show & Tellがあります。クラスのみんなの前で好きなスポーツ，食べ物、ゲーム，本などについて発表します。Show & Tellは子ども達の自信をつけ，人前でどのように話すかを学ぶ良い機会になります。発表の後は子ども達からの質問が飛び交います。回数を重ねるにつれどんどん成長していく姿が見られとても嬉しく思います。 Our Eaglets, Parrots, Hummingbirds and Saturday Course students have Show and Tell every month. They can stand up in front of their friends and talk about their favorite sports, food, games and English books. Show and Tell is a great way to help build confidence and learn how to speak in front of others. After presenting, friends can ask questions!
