年長クラスの子ども達はとてもクリエイティブです。今月は様々な国や場所について学んでいます。大きな紙に大陸の線を引き、その線の内側に様々な色で染めたティッシュを貼り付けていきます。その大陸にどんな動物が住んでいるのか、どんな気候なのかを一緒に学んでいきます。とてもカラフルな世界地図が出来上がりました。 また粘土を使って日本地図の3Dモデルを作り上げました。富士山のある場所、今私たちが住んでる場所がどこなのかなどを学びました。 子ども達が様々なことに興味を持ち、疑問を抱き、それについて調べ、学んでいくことがとても大切です。そんな彼らの興味心や探究心をどんどん伸ばしていきたいと思います！ Eaglets Class students are very creative! This month we are learning about different countries and places around the world. On a large piece of construction paper, we drew an outline of the continents and then had fun tearing up and pasting tissue paper to make a beautiful, colorful world map! We also used clay to make 3D models of Japan. Once it dried, we enjoyed painting it with paint. We had a fun week in Eaglets!

Ducklingsクラスは毎日アクティビティステーションで遊びながら創造性や考える力を英語で多くのことを学んでいます。アクティビティーステーションとは様々なアクティビティーを3つや4つのステーションに分け子供たちが順番に一つ一つ回っていくシステムです。今週は水風船を使ったペインティングアクティビティー、五感を使って楽しむキラキラしたビーズやスパンコールが混ざったカラフルな水のりが入ったボトル観察、ブロック遊び、ロープを使って真っ直ぐ歩くアクティビティ(体幹を鍛える練習です)をします。子ども達は毎日成長を見せています！ The Orange and Yellow Ducklings have Activity Centres together every day. Activity Centres (also known as Activity Stations) are a great way for little learners to do a variety of different activities while they move around from station to station. This week we did an amazing group painting activity using water balloons. We also introduced sensory bottles, played with blocks and practiced walking using the ropes. Ducklings are growing and learning everyday. Good job!

覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの秋の遠足は子ども達が大好きな東山動物園！ 名古屋市東山動物園にはあの有名なゴリラのシャバーニがいます。 子ども達は象やキリン、コアラ、猿などを夢中になって見ています。 What are they eating? 何を食べてるの？Wow! The elephant is so big! 象めちゃくちゃでかい！Can the poler bear swim? ホッキョクグマって泳げるの？質問が飛び交います。 そして楽しみにしていたお弁当手作りのお弁当を開けるときの子ども達の嬉しそうな顔が最高です！
