覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの子ども達は楽しみにしていた雪そり滑り＆スキーに長野まで出かけました。雪遊びもスキーも最高に楽しかったですね！！！真っ白な雪の中を子ども達は思い切りそりで滑り，お友達と一緒に雪遊びをして最高の時間を過ごしました。 We went to the snow! Students at Kakuozan International Preschool enjoyed a fun-filled day of skiing, sledding and playing in the snow at Komagane Ski Resort in Nagano. Some students took their very first skiing lesson and others were excited to sled down the hill at super fast speed!
覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年中Parrotsクラスの子ども達の成長には目を見張るものがあります。4月では跳べなかった跳び箱が、、、見てください！子ども達はイキイキと楽しみながら体育の時間を楽しんでいます。楽しみながら何度も何度も練習することで子ども達は様々なことができるようになります。 Parrots students are growing up so fast! At the beginning of the year they couldn’t jump very high on the vault box.. but look at them now! They enjoy their P.E. lessons as they learn to jump, hop, skip and tumble.
覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少Hummingbirdsクラスは粘土を使って様々な物を作ります。小さな細い指で器用に粘土をこねて形をつくり、平たく平たく。粘土はそれぞれのアイデアを自由に表現できる素晴らしい道具です。 Hummingbirds used the playdough to make cakes shaped with a “B!” Pat, pat, pat. They used their little fingers to mould and manipulate the clay. Playdough is such a great way to learn and express original ideas. Good job Hummingbirds!
覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年長，年中Eagletsクラス、Parrotsクラスの子ども達は毎週モーニングランニングプログラムに参加します。毎週全力でかけっこをすることで体力も強化され，走るのもかなり早くなりました。またお友達が一生懸命走っているのをみんなで応援することも大切だと子供達は知っています。 Eaglets and Parrots Class students went to the Running Program together to cheer each other on! It was fun to watch our friends and classmates run as fast as they could!
覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年長Eagletsクラスは粘土で各々のカップケーキを作りました。作りながら歌うのは”Pat a Cake!” 形を作り乾かしたら，色を塗りました。子ども達の創造性がここで光ります！色々な美味しそうなカップケーキができあがりました！ Eaglets class used playdough to create their own cupcakes while singing “Pat a Cake!” After shaping and drying their clay, they painted and decorated it freely. They look very tasty!
覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年少前々Hatchlingsクラスでは参観日を行いました。いつものサークルタイムにお母さん，お父さんがやってきました！一緒に歌を歌ったり、手遊びをしました。また今日のお天気は？についてお天気カードを自分でホワイトボード貼りに行くことができるのも見ていただきました。子ども達はいろいろなことを自分だけでできるようになっています。 Hatchlings Class enjoyed their Parents Visiting Day. Mommy, Daddy and children came together for a fun Circle Time with lots and singing and fingerplay. We also showed mommy and daddy how we could find weather cards and stick them on the whiteboard! Good job
覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの赤ちゃんとお母さんのクラスマミー＆ミークラスに節分の鬼がやってきました！ほとんどのお子さん初めて見る鬼に驚いていましたが，果敢にも追い払うことができました！楽しいレッスンになりました♪ Mommy and Me class were excited to see an ogre! For some children it was their first time but they bravely chased it away and enjoyed their class together
準備は良い？節分やってきました！覚王山インターナショナルプリスクールの年中，年長Parrots、Eagletsクラスの子ども達は怖い鬼がいつやってくるのか朝からドキドキしています。鬼が現れた時、子ども達は勇気を振り絞って、力を合わせて豆を蒔いて鬼を退治しました！ Are you ready? Setsubun is here!! Parrots and Eaglets were excited and nervous to meet and chase away the scary ogre! Children waited in the Big Room and when the ogre came in, they threw “beans” at it and chased it away.
南校舎にも鬼がやってきました。こちらの鬼さんは少し優し目。子ども達は少し緊張していましたが鬼が現れた時、子ども達は勇気を振り絞って、力を合わせて豆を蒔いて鬼を退治しました！ An ogre came to visit the South Building yesterday! We were a little nervous, but very brave. When the ogre came, Ducklings and Hatchlings were ready. They threw “beans” at the ogre and it ran away. Good job!
覚王山インターナショナルプリスクール年中Parrotsクラスは文章を書く練習をしています。子ども達は先生が言っている文章を注意深く聞き、正しいスペルでノートに丁寧に書き取ります。最近はClass (4～5 years of age) “th”や “wh” などが入った単語を含む文章を練習しています。この調子で続けていってくださいね！ Parrots Class (4～5 years of age) are practicing their sentence writing skills. They listen carefully to their teachers and carefully copy sentences using finger spaces and correct spelling. Currently they are learning to use blends such as “th” and “wh” ! Keep up the good work Parrots!
