In December all our preschool KIPS students went to the Minato Playhouse in Nagoya for our long awaited annual Christmas Concert. Since the end of summer all the classes were busy practicing their dance and songs to perform in front of their family and friends.

The Hatchlings class were adorable as mini Santa Claus and the Ducklings dressed up as little snowmen. Although there were a few tears all the students were able to stand on stage and perform!

The Hummingbirds class were outstanding this year and danced wto Skidamarink and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.

Next up the Parrots class performed a Christmas play based on The Giant Turnip story but instead of pulling out a big turnip, all the students pulled out a giant Christmas Tree!

Finally the Eaglets students performed to Peter Pan and danced to a Pirate’s Life and Try Everything. They worked incredibly hard and also opened and closed the concert with a speech and solo song.

Our two elementary speech contest winners presented in front of the audience to glowing reviews and at the end of the concert all the students and teachers danced together.
